Mgr, Transportation Services -- Fairbanks Transportation and Guest Services

Job Duties: Manages the division’s transportation services, activities, and operations. Develops, implements, and maintains procedures and policies within established Company guidelines. Participates in the planning, development, and implementation of transportation services activities and programs. Manages the division’s driver safety and training programs. Manages commercial vehicle drivers' Hours of Service and DOT compliance. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification. Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized reservations systems. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, maintain an attention to detail, while working in a group or team environment. Ability to clearly communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees, management and customers. Four years of progressively responsible positions in transportation services and operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is required. CDL certification is required. Current valid Alaska driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Must be certified as physically qualified through a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
