As a college student back in Michigan I needed to get away for a summer so I decided to come to Alaska and work for Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. It turned out to be one of the greatest experiences of my life! I work at the front desk and have met some very interesting guests throughout the year. The most memorable would have to be the one that did not know how to work the elevator!
I have met people from all over the world and now have friends from every part of the country. The best part of my Alaskan experience so far is all the places I have seen. I go into Denali National Park on tours whenever I get a chance. Mt. McKinley is amazing to see especially from the air! Traveling to other lodges has also been a highlight.
I went to Copper River Princess Lodge with some friends and had a great time. We went to Valdez for a Prince William Sound Cruise and got to see whales, porpoises, sea otters, and among other things. Alaska is one of the most beautiful places in the world and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life!

I visited Alaska in August Sept 2010 and it was the most thrilling experience in my life and would love to spend a summer there. I am married 72 years of age healthy – Strong – attrative – articulate – very good with people and would love the experience. I have no ties at home – all children grown and grandchildren grown. i have not stopped talking of my experienes since being there. I’m hard workimg.and very eneregic. My personal experiences are mostly gardening. I am a master gardener in South Carolina It’s been awaile but I have done numerous jobs in administrative duties off and on in my life. I especially like workimg with animals and nature. I would be an asset in those particular fields . I hope my age is not a detemint. I met many senior people while there. I would love the chance to use my mexperiences.
