Hello, my name is Rolin . I have been a Princess employee since March 1st of 2000. I wanted a summer job in Alaska and I wanted to work at the “best” Lodge in Fairbanks. The Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge fit’s that requirement .
The reason I stay with Princess is simple. I enjoy having an Alaska summer outdoor job. My fellow employees are a big reason I like my job.
I will give you a little background on myself. After 20 plus years in the insurance field I needed a change. My next door neighbor gave me that chance. He was the Maintenance manager for the Lodge here in Fairbanks. He hired me with no maintenance experience full time. Princess trained me on the job. To make a long story short I worked my way up to the Assistant Maintenance Manager.
This past year I semi retired and now work for Princess in the summers. Princess also offers very good travel benefits which include discount of cruises rooms at other Alaska lodges. If you are looking for a summer job in Alaska I highly recommend Princess Tours.

Hey Rolin,
I’ve been Chief Engineer for Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, and Maint. Sup. for a couple apartment complexes. At present I live in Tennessee but I’ve been looking for an opportunity to move to Alaska. Do you think I might get on with Princess ?

You might want to contact Sam Tuck at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge. 907- 455-5028 Fax 907-455-5094. Sam is the Facilities Manager at the Lodge. He can give you a run down on any job openings if any at the Lodge. He would also be able to give you Jim Cornells phone numbers. Jim is in charge of maintenance of both the Riverside Lodge and the Westmark hotel here in Fairbanks.
