We are a year round Hotel situated in Whitehorse which is the Capital city of the Yukon Territory. You must be Canadian or have a government issued work permit to work at this property. We are known as the Wilderness City because you do not have to go very far to be totally immersed in wilderness. There is unlimited opportunities for hiking and backpacking or you can enjoy the amenities of city life. Two hours southeast of Whitehorse will bring you to the beautiful community of Skagway Alaska or ninety minutes northwest of Whitehorse will have you arriving at the gateway to Kluane National Park. Here you will find the second highest peak in North America known as Mount Logan at 19,551 feet.

Community Information:
Capital city, population of 27,000. Great community with lots of recreational amenities and services offered. We are a wilderness city with many international/global visitors. Although we have a small population we have most venues and services that you would see in a larger city. Whitehorse has a very large artistic community and there are many entertainment events that happen all year long.
Housing Options:
Employee housing available. We have a program with Yukon college where we rent out their dormitory rooms, mostly singles but some are two and three bedroom apartments. Located approximately five miles from Hotel and very limited bus service. The college does have shared kitchen and lounge facilities for all the single rooms and of course the apartments have a full kitchen as well.
Transportation Options:
You must get your own way to and from Whitehorse. Upon your arrival to Whitehorse there is free shuttle service available to our hotel. Speak with your hiring manager for more information.
