Work in Tour Division Maintenance

Finding a great summer job in Alaska is easy – all you have to do is look through the variety of positions available through the Princess Alaska Tour Division Maintenance department! From our lodges set in some of the most beautiful locations in the world to our Transportation department and Rail Services division, we have something for every skill set.

At Princess Lodges, the maintenance jobs we have available range from splitting wood and maintaining the grounds for our guests to Maintenance Technician positions that require making structural and mechanical repairs. These jobs are available all over Alaska, from just outside of scenic Denali National Park to the city-setting of the Westmark Anchorage Hotel, giving our seasonal employees a chance to pick their dream landscape. Many of the lodge jobs even have housing available, depending on each specific location.

With the typical summer season running from May through September, we need everything from mechanics to fleet detailers to keep our buses rolling and our guests happy. Our fleet maintenance shops are also located all over Alaska, from the bustling city of Fairbanks to Salmon Capitol of World in Ketchikan, of all the jobs in Alaska we have to offer, some of these can lead to full-time employment.
If you’ve ever wanted to boast that you’ve been working on the railroad, our Railroad & Train Maintenance Division will give you that opportunity! The Holland America and Princess Rail division has state of the art rail cars that are equipped modern technology, creating the need for some very specialized skills. However, we still need people to help clean the exterior of the trains and help our full-time mechanics. These maintenance jobs are located in only two areas – Anchorage and Fairbanks. While the locations may be limited, you are guaranteed consistent days off. Upon successful completion of the terms of the employment agreement, an attractive discounted travel program may be available, including cruises with Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, and Seabourn.
